Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for all assigned projects’ PM system, tools and personnel.
- Obtain and manage critical project documents required by clients or specifications.
- Responsible for the development and implementation of various project plans including quality management plans, procurement, fabrication, safety management plans etc. as required to meet project objectives.
- Take initiative to provide support and leadership for construction team.
- Update and maintain databases for contacts and customers.
- Execute and facilitate all project change orders.
- Responsible for completing project close out reports to identify any final changes that may affect/delay final payment and close out processes.
- Play a key role in managing the financial aspects of contracts.
- Create and prepare weekly and monthly progress reports as required.
- Perform other related duties as required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field; or a combination of 6+ years of equivalent /related work experience for non-degree applicants
- Demonstrated high proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
- At least 5+ years of direct work experience in construction/industrial sectors
- Strong understanding of different methods for bidding, negotiating, purchasing, contracting, receiving and transporting etc.
- Ability to liaise with the client and ensure client relationships are maintained.
- Proven Contract negotiation/management skills
- Prior work experience in a contract environment is an asset.
