PVDF Welder

The PVDF Welder will be responsible for joining PVDF (polyvinylidene fluoride) plastic components to construct tanks for a recycling refinery project. This position requires a high level of skill and experience in plastic welding, particularly with PVDF materials. The welder will work under the supervision of a project manager and must adhere to all safety regulations and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare PVDF components for welding, including cleaning, grinding, and beveling edges as needed.
  • Select appropriate welding techniques and equipment based on component dimensions and project requirements.
  • Perform PVDF welding using various techniques such as butt welding, socket welding, and saddle welding.
  • Inspect welds for quality and defects, ensuring they meet project specifications.
  • Maintain and clean welding equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure project deadlines are met.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience in PVDF welding, with a strong understanding of welding techniques and procedures.
  • Ability to read and interpret welding blueprints and specifications.
  • Excellent manual dexterity and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid certification in PVDF welding (preferred).
