Role: Quantity Surveyor
Location: London – 3/4 days a week in the office
Remuneration: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum (negotiable) + Car Allowance + Family Medical
Project type: Large scale Infrastructure project (Rail)
We are currently searching on behalf of our client, a Tier 1 Construction Firm specialising in Civil engineering, infrastructure and building services. They contribute to vital parts of the nation’s life through projects of strategic importance, while delivering those less visible, yet essential, works required by both private and public sectors. They build, renew, maintain highways, airports, railway infrastructure, and commercial, industrial and educational buildings.
They have a great opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to work on a framework project with Network Rail. The framework will total 5+5 years of multiple projects across the Southern Region. Projects will consist of structures, earthworks, drainage, buildings, fencing and access points.
You will be responsible for all commercial and contractual matters on the sites allocated to you and should be able to effectively manage an assistant surveyor to successfully deliver that project/projects.
- You will hold an accredited course by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS, the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) or the Chartered Institution of Civil Engineering Surveyors (ICES).
- Adequate experience as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor and/or Quantity Surveyor.
- Experience in managing NEC forms of contract.
- Experience working for a Tier 1 main contractor.
