Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Sales Strategy and Team Management: Sales Managers are responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve sales targets for diesel generator sets. They lead and manage a team of sales professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure the team's success.
  • Market Analysis and Forecasting: Sales Managers conduct market analysis to identify potential clients, market trends, and competitor activities. They analyze market data and customer feedback to forecast sales opportunities and develop effective sales strategies.
  • Client Relationship Management: Sales Managers build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and providing them with excellent customer service. They oversee the sales process, from lead generation to closing deals, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Sales Reporting and Analysis: Sales Managers prepare sales reports, analyze sales data, and provide insights to the management team. They track sales performance, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven decisions to optimize sales effectiveness.
  • Budgeting and Pricing: Sales Managers collaborate with the finance team to develop sales budgets and pricing strategies. They ensure that the pricing of diesel generator sets is competitive and aligns with the company's profitability goals.
  • Sales Forecasting and Planning: Sales Managers work closely with the management team to develop sales forecasts and annual sales plans. They provide input on product development, marketing strategies, and market expansion opportunities based on their knowledge of customer needs and market trends.

Qualifications: 
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
  • Proven track record in sales, preferably in the diesel generator or power generation industry.
  • Proven experience more than 10+ years in technical sales, preferably in the diesel generator or power generation industry.
  • Strong knowledge of diesel generators, power systems, and related products.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Ability to understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills to secure sales agreements.
  • Self-motivated and target-driven with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel to client sites and attend industry events as required.
