Security Supervisor Investigator

Here is an exciting opportunity to join a mega project in Kitimat, British Columbia as a Security Supervisor/Investigator! In this role, you will be responsible for general supervision and investigations.


Key Job Duties:

• Supervise, mentor and train contracted guards.
• Oversee specialty guard functions such as random searches, CCTV monitoring, mobile patrols, etc.
• Assist with drug dog inspections and searches as required.
• Resolve issues or conflicts at Site access gates.
• Respond to security incidents and take action to resolve the situation (A&D, verbal conflict, thefts etc).

Key Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years policing experience in a Canadian Police Force. 
• Minimum 5 years in a police supervision or specialized unit.
• Strong investigative background
• Strong knowledge of core security principles
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office – Word and Excel.
