Senior Civil Designer

The Role - Senior Civil Designer:

This is a fantastic opportunity for a civil designer to join their established team and participate in a range of projects across the project life cycle from planning, detailed design, construction support to asset management. Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare preliminary and detailed civil designs for various civil engineering projects within the transport & infrastructure sector
• Undertake preliminary and final designs, prepare concept drawings, and engage in design and drawing
• Liaise with engineers to establish design criteria and ensure project goals are met.
• Coordinate design and documentation efforts with other engineering and drafting team members and liaise closely with team members to ensure designs are delivered on time, within budget and according to client specifications.
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior designers and drafters.

Qualifications & Experience:

You will be responsible for contributing to various projects, delivering innovative and technical advice and designs on a broad range of projects for transport, urban redevelopment, and highways, among others. In addition, you will bring the following skills and attributes:

• Wealth of knowledge in preparing civil designs for roads & highways in the transport & infrastructure sector
• Proficiency and demonstrated experience using 12D and Open Roads is highly desirable
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate clearly.
• Ability to use theoretical knowledge of civil drafting principles to analyse and interpret information.
• Capability to work autonomously as well as collaborate effectively with other team members.
• High attention to detail and strong time management skills.
