We currently seek a Senior Environmental Project Manager with at least 7 years of experience within our client’s employee-owned national compliance and environmental services firm. The ideal candidate is a problem-solver and an environmental strategist known for hands-on practical experience in investigations and assessments who is ready to lead our team. A licensed Geologist or Engineer who enjoys working on a wide range of projects in an environment that fosters creativity, collaboration at all levels, and professional growth. We empower staff to practice our profession passionately and without limitations. This is a direct hire opportunity. The position is for our client’s Jacksonville, Florida office. Hybrid schedule.
Job Requirements:
- Planning and executing large-scale investigations of soil/groundwater contamination and vapor intrusion studies under CERCLA and RCRA.
- Serving in a supervisory role over support staff.
- Compiling and interpreting investigation data, compiling, and interpreting investigation data, preparation of technical reports.
- Writing technical reports and evaluation and implementation of responses/corrective actions
- Supporting marketing/business development efforts.
- Serving in a supervisory role over support staff.
- Project sites will include Superfund sites, large, complex federal facilities/military installations, and commercial/industrial properties.
Qualifications:
- BS in Geology, Civil, Chemical, or Environmental Engineering.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience
- Professional licensure in Geology or Engineering is required (any state).
- Previous Experience executing projects under federal assessment, remediation, and munitions programs preferred.
- Current HAZWOPER Certification is desirable.
- Valid driver’s license to operate a vehicle in the U.S.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. throughout the day.
- Regional travel up to 5-10% on an annual basis.
