Client is looking for a Piping Lead Designer
Project Type: Oil & gas, petrochemical, Chemicals plants
Location: Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia
Requirements/Qualification:
- KSA‑based candidates highly considered
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 10 years' experience
- Prepare piping/ pipeline design drawings and material take-offs
- Preparing and reviewing calculations, design drawings, and other information.
- PDS / S3D skills
Responsibilities:
- Assist Lead Engineer in providing technical excellence
- Can prepare piping design in 2D/ 3D from P&ID independently without need of any guidance.
- Perform vendor data review of equipment and components in their assigned area
- •Assure consistency and quality in the Design / Drafting drawing package
- Routinely report job progress report to piping Lead
- Responsible for checking CADD drawings for the projects
- Be familiar with Design / Drafting standards and procedures and support the Design team in interpretation and implementation of standards and procedures
- Support the Design team in the review of existing Design / Drafting standards and procedures and recommend changes and revisions to existing standards and procedures as required
- Assure consistency and quality in the Design / Drafting drawing package
- Support construction and procurement with preparation of drawings and material take-offs
