Senior Process Engineer

Our client provides comprehensive solutions, including the conversion of oil and biomass into cleaner fuels, the production and purification of major petrochemical intermediates, chemical recycling of plastics, natural gas treatment, and carbon capture. Their portfolio encompasses cutting-edge technologies, equipment, furnaces, modular units, catalysts, adsorbents, and related services.

As a Senior Process Engineer within the Modular Projects Department, you will contribute to basic engineering projects and modular unit development for our valued customers. Here are the key responsibilities:

• Design and Detail Engineering of Modularization Projects & Developing PFD, P&IDs.
• Leading a team of process engineers.
• Good technical knowledge about Process, Piping, conceptual layout based on PFD.
• Sizing of equipment like heat exchangers, KO drum, separator, flare network, control valve, PSV, pump
• hydraulics.
• Preparation of technical specification/datasheet for equipment (static, rotating, special packages), Technical
• bid evaluation of vendor offers and recommendations.
• 3D model review and Isometric checking
• Hydraulic study of utility network.
• HAZOP and SIL study.
• Perform the interface with the project manager and the interface within Axens group.
• Good knowledge about 3D software Aveva, Smartplan, Navisworks.
• Process Modeling using chemical engineering software (Pro II, Hysys, etc) & Thermal rating (using HTRI
• software)
• Knowledge about Aveva Diagrams, Smartplan P&IDs and Tekla, Caesar is appreciated
• Must be able to lead multiple disciplines and effectively interface with all disciplines.
   

• B.Tech. / B.E. (Chemical / Petrochemical). If master's in chemical, then it wil be added advantage
• Engineering with Min 6 to 8 years’ experience with hands on EPC design experience for oil & gas projects
• Experienced in O&G projects with Engineering or EPC Companies. Special weightage to personnel with
• modularization experience
• Good level of English and Indian language
• Must have worked on detail engineering projects as an process engineer in an EPC company.
