Responsibilities:
- Assist with departmental recruitment, retention, dismissal, and work with the sales team on client maintenance and business development.
- Provide technical leadership to the field team, manage daily schedules, and serve as the primary contact for job scheduling and emergency callouts.
- Assist in enforcing and updating operational standards, procedures, and workflows.
- Ensure all safety, quality, and financial goals of the department are met and communicated.
- Coordinate weekly status meetings, manage field crews’ time, and maintain the Field Service Technical Training Matrix.
- Oversee all field service operations to ensure efficient, timely, and cost-effective delivery of services.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a similar position.
- Post-secondary Degree or Diploma from an accredited institution is preferred.
- Excellent safety record with an interest in continued learning of safety precautions and procedures.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a professional and positive approach.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in managing jobs, manpower, and developing a team.
- Strong understanding of Field Service and industrial electrical service processes
- Availability for short-notice travel and flexibility for 24/7 emergency on-call rotation and weekend work.
- Experience working in variable weather conditions and comprehensive safety training (including First Aid, WHIMIS, H2S Alive, CSTS, Fall Arrest, Confined Space, Basic Electrical Safety, Arc Flash Awareness).
- Ability to meet customer site pre-access requirements.
