Senior Proposal Writer

TRS Staffing Solutions has exciting opportunity for a Senior Proposal Writer to work for a client in Toronto, ON. This is a perfect opportunity for individuals who are looking to grow their skills in a multinational company and work on exciting projects.

The Ideal Candidate will have

• A Bachelor’s Degree in English or Communications
• 7+ years of relevant experience
• Previous experience in creating customized written content for engineering or construction proposals
• Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 edition 2019 products, primarily in Word and Excel, and Proficient in SharePoint
• Proven ability to apply principles of Standard English language usage, grammar, mechanics, etc. in written work
• Proven strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to read and write in French will be considered an asset

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the writing of proposals by improving proposal quality, evaluating and re-designing processes and updating text drafted by subject matter experts (SMEs) insuring clear communication of technical concepts and detailed descriptions
• Gather proposal information, coordinate submissions and collections, identify and communicate risks associated with proposals
• Enter and monitor tracking data, coordinate requirements with contributors
• Find, analyze and synthesize written content from proposal libraries; revise and repurpose it for new efforts, ensuring the content is tailored to meet the solicitation requirements
• Manage repository and other proposal libraries
• Work with SMEs to create thought-provoking content and develop new solutions to address gaps in existing content
• Participate in technical solutioning/reviewing checkpoint sessions and proposal color reviews, as necessary
• Write original text for corporate experience, past performances, standard business practices, and resumes
