Senior Supervisor Beton

For a large infrastructural project in the Amsterdam Area, we are looking to recruit a Concrete Intendent (Senior Supervisor Beton).

The job:
As an Intendent, you will play a pivotal role in managing and coordinating concrete construction activities. You will be responsible for supervising a team of skilled workers, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, monitoring project progress, and maintaining a high standard of quality. Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all aspects of concrete construction projects, including scheduling, planning, and execution.
- Supervise and lead a team of concrete workers, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient and high-quality work.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe work environment.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met within established timelines and budget.
- Inspect construction sites regularly to assess progress, identify any issues, and implement corrective measures as needed.
- Coordinate the delivery and utilization of construction materials, equipment, and tools required for concrete projects.
- Ensure proper maintenance and care of equipment to maximize productivity and minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including records of daily activities, material usage, and labor hours.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork, professionalism, and accountability among team members.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements related to concrete construction.

Requested:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience as a concrete supervisor or in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of concrete construction techniques, materials, and equipment.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting construction plans, specifications, and blueprints.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse teams.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple areas simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Solid understanding of safety protocols and regulations related to construction activities.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing project requirements.
- Relevant certifications or licenses may be required.
- Experience in the Dutch construction market
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in major / complex Dutch infrastructure projects acting as Intendent (senior supervisor)
- Good communication skills in Dutch and English
