Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Work with the Project Manager and Surveyor to ensure survey methods are followed and project goals are met.
- Provide office support and create various survey drawings for legal, right of way, topographic, construction layout and engineering surveys.
- Conduct land title research.
- Maintain professional and effective communication with clients.
- Process and analyze field data, including performing survey calculations like traverse and network adjustments, GNSS data processing, etc.
- Ensure the accuracy of collected data and adherence to established survey procedures.
- Assist in training new team members.
- Perform additional tasks as required.
Requirements
- Educational background in Survey/Geomatics (diploma, degree or equivalent work experience) and minimum 5 years of experience in legal surveys.
- Experience with relevant technologies such as StarNet and Civil 3D is essential.
- Familiarity with other relevant technologies (Leica Infinity and Microsurvey, TopoDOT) is an asset.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Dependable with technical expertise and attention to detail.
- Effective in written and verbal communication.
- Team player with collaboration skills.
