Our client that provides a full range of architectural, planning and interior design services is looking for reinforcement in their team. This firm is widely recognized for expertise in retail, residential, mixed-use, office and senior health-care projects. They are dedicated to high quality design, exceptional client service and the incorporation of sustainable design principles in their projects.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the production of drawings through Revit models for various project types.
- Manage priorities and meet tight deadlines for multiple projects simultaneously.
- Coordinate effectively with clients, consultants, and municipal staff.
- Mentor junior technologists.
- Ensure detailing and sustainable design considerations are integrated into projects.
- Navigate municipal approval processes.
- Over 8 years of relevant experience in the Canadian architectural industry (BC experience is a plus), with expertise in building technology, including wood frame, multifamily residential, and commercial projects (office or retail).
- Proven experience in leading the production of drawings through Revit models for various project types.
- Advanced skills in Revit and high proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp.
- Strong detailing skills and a solid understanding of sustainable design considerations.
- In-depth knowledge of the BC Building Code Part 3 and Part 9, and ASHRAE 90.1 (knowledge of NECB is an asset).
