Site Superintendent

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Superintendent in Calgary, AB to oversee the construction of multi-family housing and large-scale projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory role.
Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise all on-site construction activities
• Ensure project completion within timelines and budget
• Coordinate tasks according to priorities and plans
• Allocate resources efficiently and track inventory
• Oversee the compliance of construction activities with legal regulations and safety standards
• Conduct quality control checks and coordinate inspections
• Communicate effectively with project managers, subcontractors, and clients
• Resolve any problems that may arise and provide solutions to ensure project continuity

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Site Superintendent or similar role; minimum 5 years
• Extensive knowledge of construction procedures, materials, and project management principles
• Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards
• Good knowledge of MS Office and construction/project management software
• Strong leadership and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Problem-solving aptitude
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field is preferred
