TRS has an exciting opportunity with an International Engineering Company for a Smart Plant Administrator who will be responsible for providing administrative, installation, configuration, maintenance, and operational support for the SmartPlant Software Suite (SPI, SPPID, SPEL, SPF/Basic Integrator).
 

Job Title: SmartPlant Administrator

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer SmartPlant, including project creation/setup, report development, SEED customization, and system maintenance.
  • Maintain SmartPlant database SQL Servers and create/update SQL queries and SQL Reporting Services.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for SmartPlant users.
  • Develop and enforce best practices for SmartPlant usage and data management.
  • Collaborate with engineering and design teams to optimize SmartPlant workflows.
  • Conduct training sessions for new users and provide ongoing support.
  • Monitor system performance and implement improvements as needed.
  • Ensure data integrity and security within the SmartPlant environment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or an equivalent technical degree.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience as a SmartPlant Administrator, providing daily maintenance and operational support of the SmartPlant Software Suite in petrochemical or O&G plants.
  • Strong knowledge of SmartPlant software applications and their administration.
  • Proficiency in system administration, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with SQL Server management and report development.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
