They are at the top of Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC), asset ownership and operations and maintenance services in the three industry segments of generation, transmission and distribution. Incorporated in 1963 and headquartered in Kolkata, our operations are spread across India and abroad.
Project Details: Distribution System Improvement Turnkey contract for Supply & Construction of New / Augmentation of 33KV /11KV / LT lines in Tripura - Package III
Key Skills:
- Responsible Required to plan and execute works ensuring compliance to applicable environmental regulations and with minimum impacts to general public and environment.
- Responsible to list out measures implemented in this regard and submit to the Employer.
- Responsible for maintain records of any complaints / requests received from general public and other organizations.
- Responsible for establish any measures recommended by the Employer / Asian Development Bank to minimize adverse environmental and social impacts. This includes compliance to Environmental Management Plan (EMP) and Environmental Monitoring Plan
- Responsible to submit a detailed Site Specific Environmental Management Plan (SSEMP) to client no objection showing how he/she intends to comply with environmental laws and regulations and other specific requirements prescribed in the Contract, addressing all the monitoring and mitigation measures set forth in the Environmental Impact Assessment (“EIA”) and the Environmental Management Plan (“EMP”) of the project.
- Responsible (a) establish an operational system for managing environmental impacts, (b) comply with the approved SSEMP and any corrective or preventative actions set out in safeguards monitoring reports that the Employer will prepare from time to time to monitor the implementation of the project EMP through the SSEMP, (c) allocate the budget required to ensure that such measures, requirements and actions are carried out, (d) submit semi-annual reports on the compliance of such measures to the Employer. Where unanticipated environmental risks or impacts become apparent during the Contract, is required to update the SSEMP to outline the potential impacts to site works and associated mitigation measures for the Project Manager’s approval.
- Responsible to comply with all applicable national, provincial, and local environmental laws and regulations.
- Responsible for (a) establish an operational system for managing environmental impacts, (b) carry out all of the monitoring and mitigation measures set forth in the Initial Environmental Examination ("IEE") or Environmental Management Plan ("EMP") .
- Responsible to submit semi-annual reports on the carrying out of such measures to the Employer. More particularly, shall comply with (i) the measures and requirements set forth in the initial environmental examination and the environmental management plan and (ii) any corrective or preventative actions set out in safeguards monitoring reports that the Employer will prepare from time to time to monitor implementation of the initial environmental examination Environmental Management Plan and the environmental management plan.
- The shall allocate a budget for compliance with these measures, requirements and actions.
