Sr Electrical Engineer (LV)

For our industrial client, we are looking to recruit a Senior Electrical Engineer (focus on E-LV knowledge). 

The unit to which the position is part is responsible for new construction and renovation projects and technical innovations and improvements of installations. The main clients of the position are Project Managers / Maintenance Managers / Buyers / Researchers / Department Managers.

The job:
You will provide expert input and advice in the field of electrical engineering, focusing mainly on preparation of electrical system concepts, configurations and studies of high voltage and low voltage distribution systems and equipment requisitions. You are responsible for time, technique and money regarding electrical engineering in the project team. The job includes both new and modification (revamp) work. Furthermore, you'll manage the long-term improvement agenda for your discipline and development of the electrical engineering expert area.

• You will give advice on planning, procurement, application, modification, installation, safety and functionality in the field of electrical engineering;
• You will define mitigations and provide advice and judgement on deviations from standards / processes and delegate such authority where appropriate;
• You will develop skills and competencies in electrical engineering in line with changing business needs and technical developments with focus on design safety and integrity;
• You will establish continuous improvements of the technical services and share Best Practices within the organization but also peers in internal and external Technical/Scientific groups.

Requested:
• You have at least a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering;
• You have extensive experience (10 yr +) predominately associated with engineering, design, construction and electrical equipment used in industry;
• Experience with brown field / revamp projects (focus on E-LV knowledge);
• You have sound knowledge of applicable national and internationals codes, regulations and standards (such as, e.g. NEN, EN, IEC and Client standards based on that);
• Practical field / site experience for the electrical installation;
• Fluency in English and at least some good level of Dutch (with the willingness to learn).
