Stress Engineer required for leading EPC in the Hampshire/Surrey area on an initial six month contract offered outside of IR35.
To be considered you must be technically capable of performing the below tasks:-
Advise and assist with all interfacing, construction and engineering groups in the area of piping stress and undergrounds.
Prepares stress analysis, calculations and compile documentation.
Has working knowledge of Code for Pressure Piping, ASME 31.3, ASME 31.1, ASTM, ANSI, API, AWWA, PPI standards and applies these requirements on projects.
Performs stress analysis of high complex systems using AutoPIPE and hand calc methods with conclusive results regarding suitability of the design.
Is knowledgeable and experienced in analysis of underground pipes, both plastic and steel.
Develops design details or advance complex details as needed with minimum supervision.
Experience in specifying and procuring Stress Engineered Supports.
