The main objectives of Structure T&I Engineer are to design subsea structures including crossing bridges together with its support structure, and to prepare sea-fastening design and analysis of all project material. They coordinate and liaise with other part of the organization and PMT members with the main goal to achieve project objectives considering project schedule and within cost budget.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- To prepare design and analysis of subsea structures including crossing bridges together with its support structure.
- To prepare sea-fastening design and analysis of all project material.
- Be familiar with the project scope of work, specifications, schedule and all inter-discipline requirements; including identifying concerns as early as practicable and taking appropriate initiatives to address the issues.
- Interface with other departments to obtain input for Discipline designs and drawings.
- Maintain close co-ordination with other disciplines / entities, such as; Project Management Team, Vessel, ROV, Survey, Offshore, Fabrication, Construction, etc.
- Raise technical queries to obtain missing information, clarify work scope, and to maintain preferred Company procedures, specifications, standards, practices and operational requirements.
- Prepare Discipline engineering design basis, philosophies, and technical specifications, as required.
Qualifications:
Education & Professional Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Ocean Engineering / Offshore engineering or marine engineering or any related field such as Naval Architecture, mechanical engineering, etc.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experiences in the Oil and Gas Industry, preferably in offshore projects and at least 5 years’ experience in detail engineering and project execution/construction.
- Subsea Cable and other subsea international engineering codes and standards, project specifications and operating philosophies, along with subsea installation activities
- Strong technical, planning, communication, reporting and leadership skills
- Proven ability to manage project team in major pipeline and subsea project environment
- Proven Experience as a discipline engineer in T&I Engineering.
- GCC or Europe Preferred
- Fully conversant with MS Office and web applications.
- AutoCAD and other Engineering software: MOSES, OrcaFlex, Mathcad, etc.
- Other Engineering related software is a plus: SACS, Abaqus, Oracle applications, etc.
