WATER PROCESS ENGINEER (CALGARY, VANCOUVER, OR US) - PERMANENT FULL-TIME
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial water treatment, mining, and other process industries, with a proven ability to solve complex chemistry challenges and design effective water treatment technologies.
Qualifications:
- Legally able to work in Canada and/or the US.
- Bachelor’s degree in chemical or process engineering (or equivalent) from a recognized university; a master’s or other graduate degree is considered an asset.
- 10+ years of applicable process engineering experience in North American industrial water treatment, mining, and other process industries.
- Registration with APEGA and/or EGBC or other Canadian jurisdiction in good standing; licensure in other North American jurisdictions is considered an asset.
- Thorough understanding of aqueous water chemistry.
- Experience in designing various water treatment technologies, including biological wastewater treatment, metal precipitation, clarification, dissolved air flotation, reactive media filtration, ion exchange, membrane filtration, and electro deionization.
- Proven leadership and strong client communication skills.
- Business development skills and a client base and contacts in North America are considered an asset.
