Job Title: Wire Cutter Setter & Operator

This position will report to the Tool room Manager and responsibilities will include but not limited to the following:
• Perform all duties as per SEIFSA Main Agreement
• Carry out all Wire cutting requirements for Press Tools (Main Task), including but not limited to the following:
o Wire Cutting Die Plates for Press tools (with taper)
o Wire Cutting Punch blocks
o Wire Cutting Stripper Plates
o Wire Cutting Punch Plates

Carry out all Wire cutting requirements for Plastic Injection Moulds, including but not limited to the following:
• Electrodes
• Angle Cores
• Inserts

Adhere to all company safety requirements

Minimum Requirements:
• Previous experience on Mitsubishi FA 10 S Advance
• 5 years’ experience Wire cutting for Press Tools
• N3 with trade theory, mathematics and technical drawing will be advantageous
• Red seal trade test certificate in Toolmaking will be advantageous
• Injection Moulds, Extrusion and Urea Compression moulding experience will be advantageous
• Must be willing to work overtime if required.
• Good Knowledge of Health and Safety
