Building the Future with Furnace 2.

PROJECT DETAILS
Arglass is excited to announce the construction of a second state-of-the-art furnace on our Valdosta, GA campus. This investment, a combination of structured equity and debt, will enable us to expand our production capabilities and continue leading the glass manufacturing industry in innovation and sustainability.

Facility Highlights
Production Capability: Over 350 million sustainable glass containers annually
Flexibility: Capable of producing up to eight different glass container types simultaneously
Technology: AI-integrated real-time data monitoring, predictive modeling, and fully automated closed-loop production and quality assurance systems
Sustainability: Hybrid gas, electric, and hydrogen oxy-fuel furnace, solar power installation, green hydrogen usage, closed-loop water system, and on-site post-consumer glass recycling plant

Sustainability Commitment
Our new facility will feature some of the most extensive sustainability infrastructure in the glass manufacturing industry. The hybrid furnace will melt 490 metric tons of glass per day, supplemented by five megawatts of solar power. We are committed to reducing CO2 emissions using green hydrogen and minimizing industrial waste with a closed-loop water system. Additionally, our on-site recycling plant will provide post-consumer glass cullet for new container production, further enhancing our sustainability efforts.

Community Impact
The construction of this new facility will bring over 100 new jobs to the Valdosta, GA area. We are dedicated with the local community and contributing to the economic development of Georgia. The project is supported by the Valdosta Lowndes Development Authority and the Georgia Department of Economic Development.

Our new furnace will aim to further establish Arglass as the most innovative, flexible, and sustainable glass manufacturer in North America. Glass is already the most sustainable, recyclable and healthy packing material, and the only packaging material classified as 'generally recognized as safe' by the FDA. I am incredibly proud to be leading the industry to new heights in sustainability. José de Diego Arozamena, Arglass Chairman and CEO.
