We currently seek an Architectural Project Manager within our client’s civil and architectural engineering firm that offers sustainable alternatives to traditional construction methods, by using an ecologically conscious approach to civil and architectural design. The ideal candidate will possess at least 10 years of experience in architectural project management. This position will play a pivotal role in the development of architectural designs, guiding projects from conception to execution. You will collaborate with a complete staff of professionals to create functional and aesthetically pleasing designs while ensuring their adherence to regulatory and environmental standards. Based in Phoenix, AZ.
Job Requirements:
- Manage a diverse portfolio of small to medium-sized architectural projects, ensuring successful project delivery on time and within budget.
- Develop and implement strategic project plans to achieve project goals.
- Coordinate all aspects of project execution, including design, engineering, permitting, and construction administration.
- Act as the primary client liaison, fostering strong relationships and keeping them informed on project progress, budget, and schedule.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and programs with meticulous attention to detail.
- Oversee project communications and documentation, ensuring all information is accurate and up to date.
- Handle administrative tasks related to project management.
- Lead and assign tasks to project teams, ensuring efficient workflow and collaboration.
- Estimate project fees, determine the scope of work, and prepare proposals and contracts.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in architecture, master’s degree in architecture preferred.
- Registered Architect in Arizona, with eligibility for licensure in other states and jurisdictions.
- Ability to use software to articulate design., i.e., knowledgeable in REVIT and AutoCAD software. Should be able to mentor others in the computer aided drafting as it relates to design elements.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in architectural project management with a focus on production architecture, examples include: commercial, retail, fuel center, quick service restaurant, restaurants, and planned area developments.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced firm, managing several projects at various stages of design and construction.
- Strong understanding of architectural design, construction methods, and building codes.
- A consummate professional that never fails to communicate with all project stakeholders with timely and accurate information.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in project management software, including scheduling and budgeting tools.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality and accuracy.
