Chemical Process Support

Our Client, who provides leadership in the field of chemical intermediates, a presence on four continents and the internal management of the production-distribution chain is hiring for Chemical Process Support in their Houston location.

The Process Support controls, operates, or tends equipment in which a chemical change or reaction takes place in the processing of industrial or consumer products. Typical equipment used includes: storage & blend tanks, and batch treating equipment. Responsibilities include maintaining equipment and daily operations, loading and drumming, maintaining inventory accuracy, unloading, loading of finished goods, and other activities as directed in a safe and environmentally responsible manner. This includes ensuring that plant is kept clean through specific job duties. The employee also tracks materials and reports any materials needed to fill orders for production. This job includes organizing and facilitating the flow of materials or product in and out of the plant. The Process Support reports to the Production Manager or Plant Manager.



Requirements:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Must be able to pass a math test, and skills test to be considered
Must be able to meeting background requirements and drug screen.
Valid Driver License requires
Pass Respiratory Fit Mask and Sensitivity Testing.

Ability to communicate, read, and understand information and ideas in writing.
Ability to perform basic math calculations consisting of metric weight conversions.
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Previous forklift experience
Ability to lift 50lbs or more
Ability to walk and stand for long period of time.



This is not a Process Controls position, but will be process support ( Skilled Laborer position)



DUPONT SCHEDULE
four-night shift , three days off, three -days shift, one day off, three-night shifts, three days off, four-day shifts, seven days off.

Training is from 7-10 days in a classroom setting from 8am-5pm. then 1st month on 1st shift.


Pay is $22 DOE
