Job Title: HR Coordinator
Location: Duncan, SC (29334)
Industry: Manufacturing, Plastics
Status of Hire: direct, full-time, salary
Pay: $75k
TRS is seeking an HR Coordinator for a direct position in Duncan, SC. This position comes with hands-on professional development and the opportunity for advancement!
Job Requirements:
Administer all applicable Human Resource policies and procedures affecting employees
Will function as a HSE Site Specialist
Maintain a close working relationship with discipline management to ensure that services are properly executed and the needs of the company are met
Establish relationship with direct manager and colleagues as a discipline expert
Manage the day to day hiring and processing of personnel, including but not limited to:
I9 and E-verify Compliance
HRIS System (data integrity)
Personnel Files
Benefits Administration, in conjunction with payroll department
Certified Payroll Reporting
OSHA Compliance Reporting
Facilitate onboarding activities for project hires and intercompany transfers to site
Manage company welcome emails and communications
Conduct new hire orientation presentations
Overview of site policies, reporting structures and general information personnel need to effectively handle job duties
Preferred Qualifications - Related Education, Experience & Skills:
Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in HR, with 5+ experience in Human Resources
Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), Professional in Human Resources (PHR), Global Professional in Human Resources (GPHR) certification, or applicable HR accreditation
Problem solving, communication, judgment, and conflict resolution skills with the ability to provide analysis, conclusions, and recommendations
Demonstrated ability to be discreet with confidential company and employee information
Ability to achieve results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities and deadlines
Exhibit team orientation and positive relationships with all levels of employees
Proficient computer and software skills to include the use of word processing, email, spreadsheets, and electronic presentations
Broad knowledge of internal database applications for designated discipline
Basic computer and software skills to include the use of word processing and email as well as the basic use of spreadsheets and electronic presentations
Strong public speaking, presentation, training, teaching and writing skills
Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time effective manner
Effective oral and written communication skills
High critical thinking/reasoning ability
Drug Screen and Background Check required prior to employment.
