We are currently seeking a high caliber Procurement/Subcontractor Administrator (Buyer) for a long-term basis within our client’s team of experienced professionals. Based Remotely (West Coast Preference)
Position Overview:
Participates in wide variety of more complex Procurement functions to ensure quality, efficiency, and timeliness of services provided to clients and project personnel. Manages large Purchase Orders and contract Agreements. Assist with or negotiates best price, delivery, terms of payment and purchase conditions, tax exemptions, price escalation, and other factors impacting costs. Assist and support other Business units with Procurement onboarding as requested. Act as liaison for office supplies and shipping onboarding needs.
Job Responsibilities:
- Purchases materials and equipment on a competitive basis as required by project or corporate needs. Responsible for day-to-day operations and procedures.
- Analyzes purchasing requisitions to ensure clarity and completeness in description of materials, equipment, or service requirements, proper authorization of funding, and proper support documentation.
- Prepares contract documents and amendments and ensures that terms and conditions will be appropriate.
- Utilizes the SAP Ariba Sourcing for sourcing events as well as the Contracts Module for setting up, negotiating and completing agreements. Recording agreement savings on the Ariba Savings Form.
- Manages and maintains task list of open projects, required completion dates, level of priority and status.
- Onboard suppliers as requested through SAP Ariba SLP module and/or the “Online Vendor Management” (Legacy System) for “Lease, Utility and PO required suppliers as directed by Vendor Management Office (VMO) staff.
- Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
- High school diploma (or equivalent) and typically 8+ years of related experience, including some experience in a lead capacity. Some college level education or facilities related certification coursework preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in Facilities Management and working with procurement.
- 2+ years minimum of working in SAP ARIBA (ERP System)
- Ability to manage internal Client Relationships
- Ability to negotiate/contract with third parties e.g. (CBRE, Contactors for Tenant Improvements, etc.)
- Strong written and oral communication, organizational, interpersonal skills, and customer service skills are required. Additionally, a demonstrated proficiency in the use of internet search engines, electronic mail systems, and spreadsheets is required. A working knowledge of company policies and procedures is preferred.
- Ability to work on individual tasks and team tasks.
- Ability to work with various levels of staff.
- Must function effectively under time constraints, schedule workload to meet deadlines, and have the ability to prioritize.
- Applies knowledge and skills to details of work.
- Good verbal communication skills.

Employment Type: 3-month Contract-to-Hire; Full Time

Pay: $30/hr.
