SUMMARY
• Schedule: 7am-3:30pm (1st shift)
• Pay: $14-14.50/hr.
• Position Type: Temp to Perm
Primary Function:
Coordinate the efficient movement of materials, both raw materials and finished goods throughout the inventory and production processes.
Responsibilities:
• Pull parts from the internal and external warehouse(s) for production jobs based on job picking tickets.
• Assist in packaging and prepping orders for outbound shipment.
• Communicate weights and dimensions to Shipping coordinator timely so transportation can be scheduled.
• Properly tag and identify all parts related to jobs whether internal or external.
• Work with Shipping/Receiving Coordinator to physically receive parts and materials as they are delivered.
• Maintain the organization (including cleanliness) of Warehouse 000, External Warehouse, and overstock room.
• Offload pallets and steel from LTL trucks using forklift and move the material to its designated location.
• Offload shipments from external vendors whether parcel or LTL shipment.
• Remove all paperwork including packing list from the shipment at time of delivery.
• Ensure all documentation related to shipping, receiving, and inventory are placed in the correct location as not to delay process.
• Take inventory and cycle count of the parts and report shortages to the purchasing agent or inventory manager.
• Work with Bill of Materials coordinator to ensure that the correct parts are pulled for the jobs per the BOM and drawings.
• Work with Inventory Coordinator to prep warehouse for physical inventory.
• Perform stock checks when requested by various sources.
• Work with Material Expeditor to return parts to stock that are not used on job.
• Issue parts to production as needed and document issuances accordingly.
