Job Title: Sr-Principal Civil Engineering Project Manager 

We currently seek a Sr-Principal Civil Engineering Project Manager within our client’s civil and architectural engineering firm that offers sustainable alternatives to traditional construction methods, by using an ecologically conscious approach to civil and architectural design. The ideal candidate will have more than 10 years of hands-on experience in the civil engineering field, with a strong technical background in land development projects. This individual should be adept at leading and mentoring teams of engineers, possess exceptional client relationship management skills, and have a proven track record in business development. Based in Dallas, TX.

Job Requirements:
  • Project Leadership
    • Provide strategic leadership in the planning, design, and execution of complex land development projects.
    • Oversee and manage project teams, ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality engineering solutions while adhering to plans, schedules, timelines, and budgets.
    • Coordinate with various support staff, municipalities, and clients to ensure accurate and timely information flow. 
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Technical Expertise –
    • Provide strategic leadership in the planning, design, and execution of complex land development projects.
    • Oversee and manage project teams, ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality engineering solutions while adhering to plans, schedules, timelines, and budgets.
    • Coordinate with various support staff, municipalities, and clients to ensure accurate and timely information flow.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Team Development –
    • Provide strategic leadership in the planning, design, and execution of complex land development projects.
    • Oversee and manage project teams, ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality engineering solutions while adhering to plans, schedules, timelines, and budgets.

  • Client Relationship Management –

  • Business Development –
    • Provide strategic leadership in the planning, design, and execution of complex land development projects.
    • Oversee and manage project teams, ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality engineering solutions while adhering to plans, schedules, timelines, and budgets.
    • Coordinate with various support staff, municipalities, and clients to ensure accurate and timely information flow.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering; Professional Engineering (PE) license required.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in civil engineering, with a focus on land development projects.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and managing engineering teams.
  • Exceptional technical expertise in civil engineering principles and practices.
  • Strong client relationship management skills with a demonstrated ability to understand and fulfill client needs.
  • Experience in business development, including proposal preparation, client presentations, and successful project acquisition.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in relevant engineering software and tools.
