Duties:
• Support category managers in obtaining quotes, development and issuance of RFXs, pricing analysis, etc.
• Develop and maintain trucking and rail lanes and rates, and all contract pricing sheets
• Develop should cost models and cost adjustment formulas for identified scopes; identify and utilize appropriate market intelligence and best practices in the analysis
• Calculate, analyze and report savings and value creation
• Enter and manage new supplier requests and vendor master changes
• Enter and maintain contracts in SAP
• Obtain KPI, spend and other reports from suppliers and SAP
• Develop and publish monthly Team metrics reports, market summary reports and other required reports
• Assist in documentation and presentation development
• Develop and maintain regional process and procedure documentation
• Develop and implement process improvements
• Effectively communicate with logistics providers, carriers and internal stakeholders
• Other activities and duties as assigned
JOB SPECIFIC SKILLS
• Effective communication skills (written and verbal) across all business levels, sites, cross-national and cross-functional organizations
• Excellent level of quantitative, analytical and conceptual skills, with experience in database development preferred
• Strong negotiation skills
• Strong critical thinking and decision quality
• Fluent in English. (Spanish and/or Portuguese a plus but not required)
REQUIREMENTS
• College degree
• Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in a procurement or supply chain analyst role
• Strong SAP experience, with Ariba experience preferred
