Weight Manager Job Description
The Weight Control Manager (WCM) is responsible for the development and maintenance of weights and center of gravity data for the offshore project. The WCM will evaluate FEED and Detailed Design progress to determine the design impact on the project limits. The WCM will work closely with design disciplines through all phases of the project. This position is based in Sugar Land, Texas.
Position Responsibilities:
• Lead and document Weights analysis as part of an offshore project
• Support major project updates and initial development activities
• Work with disciplines to capture weight and center of gravity data and maintain the weights data
• Provide regular updates to engineering, construction, logistics, and project management regarding weight and center of gravity status for the project
• Interface with Client representative and provide weight reports in approved format
• Write the project specific weight control procedures and job bulletins based upon Fluor and Industry standard practices
