Weld Equipment Repair Technician

TRS Craft Services is immediately seeking a Weld Equipment Repair Technician for our client in S. Houston/ Pasadena, TX area.

*Please note, this is not a Welding position*

Overview

We are seeking a Weld Equipment Repair Technician to trouble shoot, repair, and service various types of welding equipment, industrial and contractor’s equipment primarily pneumatic, electric, hydraulic tools, and rigging equipment to include but not limited to:

• Test & Diagnose Inverter Welders
• Test & Diagnose Plasma Cutters
• Repair Step-up transformers
• Troubleshoot and repair gas / diesel engines a plus

This is an opportunity to join a leader in the equipment rental market.

Requires:

Qualified candidates must have mechanical aptitude
1+ years’ experience in repairing tools, equipment, or machinery.
Position requires a professional and customer service demeanor be always displayed.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and capable of multi-tasking, while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Must have a strong attention to detail and able to work with little direction.
As workload dictates, some overtime (including weekends) will be required.
Must have your own repair tools; bench equipment supplied.


Schedule

Monday - Friday 8am to 4:30pm, may require some overtime as workload dictates

Travel: May require travel for training purposes.

Starting pay range: $18+/hr DOE ( To be discussed with Recruiter)
