- We are looking for a high-energy, motivated professional with sound business insight and natural sales instincts to build our Business Development team within our organization.
- The successful candidate has a strong interest in architecture and a demonstrated talent for new business, marketing, and communications activities and have a proven track record of landing multi-million-dollar architecture and/or engineering consulting projects. The Business Development Manager will work collaboratively with the firm's leadership team to help lead client-relationship management, track and respond to RFP/RFQs, identify new business opportunities, manage our communications strategies, and implement our marketing activities.
- As a Business Development Manager, you are not afraid to push the boundaries to uncover and develop creative new business leads and assist in closing business deals that will continuously elevate the brand and expand the market presence.
- This person will help communicate our firm’s value and inspire prospective clients to harness the power of good design in order to move their business forward.
- The ideal candidate enjoys solving complex problems, works effectively with creatives and has the ability to train and coach sales skills to other key members of the firm.
Primary Responsibilities
- Identify, develop, and close new business.
- Prepare and implement a business development plan, including identification of target market sectors and prospective clients.
- Qualify and pursue new business based on potential revenue, profit, and timely close.
- Maintain client and prospect information.
- Develop, leverage and manage the relationships of the influential power-players in order to utilize referrals to create a network of prospective clients.
- Must have experience in cultural (hospitality, performance, tourism, etc.) and large-scale mixed-use projects
