As a leader in construction and project management, our client is seeking a Construction Manager to oversee a high-profile project in the United Kingdom. This role is pivotal for ensuring the successful delivery of the project, encompassing planning, execution, and stakeholder management. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage all aspects of construction activities, ensuring the project is delivered on time, within scope, and budget.

  • Act as the primary liaison with clients, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams involved in the project.

  • Coordinate and supervise contractors, ensuring quality standards are met and safety regulations are strictly adhered to.

  • Develop and implement construction schedules, logistics plans, and resource allocation strategies.

  • Identify potential challenges, evaluate solutions, and make recommendations to ensure smooth project delivery.

  • Manage project finances, including cost estimation, tracking, and reporting.

  • Prepare and present progress reports, ensuring clear communication with stakeholders.

  • Support business development initiatives, contributing to the growth and success of future projects.

  • Foster a collaborative work environment, mentoring and guiding team members to achieve project goals.

Skills, Experience & Education:

  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences, including management, contractors, clients, and stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated expertise in managing complex construction projects, with a focus on quality, safety, and efficiency.

  • Analytical problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions under pressure.

  • Proficiency in construction planning and project management tools.

  • Strong understanding of construction processes, regulations, and compliance standards.

  • Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and ensuring seamless collaboration across various functions.

  • Willingness to travel to project sites and other locations as needed.

Other Job Requirements:

  • Previous experience in successfully managing large-scale construction projects.

  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and the ability to navigate industry standards.

  • Strong networking capabilities and understanding of client cultures.
