Electrical Package Engineer

TRS Staffing has a contract opportunity for an Electrical Package Engineer. The position is outside IR35 and working on a hybrid arrangement, with 3 days per week from the office.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and review electrical engineering specifications and drawings for assigned equipment and systems.
• Select, size, and specify electrical equipment (transformers, switchgear, motors, etc.) based on process requirements and applicable codes.
• Perform electrical load calculations and ensure power distribution systems meet capacity demands.
• Conduct cable tray and raceway design, ensuring proper routing and adherence to safety codes.
• Develop and implement electrical grounding and lightning protection strategies.
• Participate in equipment selection and review vendor proposals for electrical equipment.
• Collaborate with process engineers to integrate electrical systems with process equipment.
• Support project planning and scheduling for electrical package activities.
• Participate in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) for electrical equipment.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of electrical safety procedures
