Location: Waukesha, WI
Industry: heavy industrial metals manufacturing
Status of Hire: direct placement; permanent
Pay: $100k-$120k +
Reports to: Maintenance Manager

Summary: The Electrical Supervisor will lead a team of Electricians to support production equipment maintenance and execute complex electrical projects.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee all plant electrical systems, repairs, and improvement activities
- Responsible for ensuring the operational readiness of all electrical and electronic production equipment
- Responsible for all long-range planning for electrical projects and electrical portions of any other projects
- Supervisory responsibility for all three shifts of electrical staff
- Directly involved in the selection, hiring, training and development of new personnel
- Managing administrative programs that concern electrical systems and personnel
- Responsible for oversight of contractors as needed, directing their activities to ensure on-time and on-budget completion of projects
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering preferred
- OR equivalent electrical technical experience in a production environment
- 7-10 years’ experience in a heavy industrial metals manufacturing and/or foundry environment is required
- 4+ years’ supervisory experience is required
- Experience with AutoCAD Electrical is strongly preferred
- Electrical problem-solving skills and experience leading the troubleshooting and repair of electrical and electronic equipment is required
- Should have experience with controls, instrumentation, and electrical distribution systems
- Project management experience is a plus
- Strong communication and people skills with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of the organization
