We are currently seeking a General Electrician, C&I, for our client on a 2-month contract basis in Fremont, California. The ideal candidate will be a qualified electrical technician with at least 2 years of relevant experience. Key duties include installing, operating, testing, and maintaining electrical equipment, conduit bending, troubleshooting DCS, and performing industrial electrical maintenance.
Job Requirements:
- Install and repair electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in buildings
- Install circuit breakers and other electrical hardware and connect wiring to them
- Ensure piping complies with electrical codes
- Connect electrical systems to powerlines to provide electricity to buildings
- Test electrical systems to ensure proper installation and operation
- Inspect electrical systems to determine whether repairs are needed
- Replace conduit and wiring as needed
- Replace circuit breakers as needed
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Qualified Electrical Technician
- Proficient in bending conduit (EMT) is required
- Proficient in wire bending
- Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in a service environment at commercial scale
- General electrician code knowledge
- Strong communicator
- Strong work ethic
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- First Aid trained, CPR
- OSHA 10
