Duration: approx. 6 months

We are currently looking for a HSE Field Supervisor to work as a contractor for +/- 6 months. Based in Bergen op Zoom, you will be working for one of the world’s leading engineering, procurement & construction companies to the Oil, Gas & Petrochemical sector.
Job description
Reports directly to the EHS Manager and has a functional relationship to the Project EHS departments and coordinators involved in his/her EPC.
Responsibilities
• To give daily EHS leadership to the Project EPC correspondent Contractor.
• To transmit the EHS Project requirements to the EPC Contractor.
• To monitor implementation of the Project requirements by the EPC Contractor.
• Report any deficiencies or shortcomings of the EPC Contractor in a timely manner to enable action by the Project.
• Actively engage the Project support to enforce contractual and regulatory requirements where necessary.
• Issue accurate Weekly and Monthly Reports in the defined format.
• Participate in the weekly PSS Meetings and supply information and updates regarding EHS issues.
• Participate in both scheduled and unscheduled audits and inspections of the EPC work site.
• Support and propose EHS improvement actions.
• To actively follow up and progress to closure action items assigned to the Project organization and the EPC Contractor.
• To lead investigations in to sub-standard conditions and/or systems.
• To participate in investigation of Incidents and Near-misses.
Requirements
• Fluent in Dutch and English
• At least 5 (five) years of HSE related experience in large construction projects for major Chemical / Oil / Gas multinationals
