JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform Project technical tasks assigned by the Instrumentation Discipline Lead consisting in design, checking, layout definition, installation drawings and material definition, validation, testing and engineering of process measuring sensors, process actuators, installation elements and process safety elements.
- Review Client technical documentation and requirements.
- Ensure Instrumentation 3D modeling design activities.
- Optimize Instrumentation design ensuring minimal cost and complexity in compliance with the contractual and safety requirements.
- Prepare the technical documentation for Instrumentation elements material and services requisitions and prepare, according to internal procedures, the technical evaluations.
- Prepare Instrumentation BOQs and MTOs.
- Participate to P and ID mechanization.
QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
- Track record experience in Field Instruments and/or Instr. Packages (WHCP, MPFM, HIPPS, Fiscal Metering, F&G Detection & Alarming) and/or Field Design (Cable routing, Hook-up, Bulk MTO, Instrumentation Layouts, 3D models supervision) – Specification, Requisition, TBE, Vendor follow-up.
- Track record experience in Instrumentation Valves like API 6A, API 6D, Choke valves, Pressure safety valves and control valves - Specification, data sheets Requisition, TBE, Vendor follow-up etc.
- Working knowledge of Saudi Aramco, ADNOC, DEP Shell standards.
- Instrumentation design in FEED, EPCI projects, including active participation in 3D-model reviews Procurement activities and submission of priced MTO/BoQ for Instrumentation.
- Site survey, report, assistance to Pre-Com/Fabrication.
- Experience in Intool software.
