Lead Instrumentation & Controls Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Instrumentation & Control Engineer to join our client in Calgary, AB! The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the design, implementation, and maintenance of instrumentation and control systems for various projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and review of P&ID inputs and instrument selection.
• Develop and maintain instrument indexes, datasheets, and inline instrument sizing.
• Oversee the creation of input/output (I/O) assignments, instrument loop diagrams, and cable schedules.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Provide technical guidance and support to the engineering team.
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines and project stakeholders.
• Participate in the development of project proposals and bids.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to team members.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in instrumentation and control engineering.
• Proven experience in leading engineering teams and projects.
• Strong knowledge of instrumentation and control systems design and implementation.
• Excellent project management and leadership skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Professional Engineer (P.Eng) designation is preferred.
