Location: Waukesha, WI
Industry: heavy industrial metals manufacturing
Status of Hire: direct placement; permanent
Pay: $23/hr-$33/hr +
Reports to: Maintenance Supervisor

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Diagnose machine and equipment malfunctions and dismantle, repair and rebuild as necessary
- Communicate problems and repair schedules to operating departments
- Plan and perform operations to move, position, align, level and secure machines and equipment
- Maintain and repair hydraulic, air, gas, water, ventilation, cutting/welding, overhead lifting and power transmission systems
- Completed apprenticeship in maintenance or similar education or experience required
- Previous experience in a heavy industrial metals manufacturing or foundry environment is strongly preferred
- Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs., work in awkward positions and at heights
- Broad knowledge of various trade fundamentals sufficient to perform general maintenance duties.
- Sound knowledge of necessary techniques to align and fit shafts, bearings and bushings
- Proficiency with variety of measuring and leveling devices
**Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test, physical, and background check to be eligible for hire
