DUTIES:
• Provide a safe and secure workplace for plant employees
• Plan short-term and long-term production for the plant
• Be responsible for the daily operations of the mechanical team, cleaning team, and paint team
• Work with team supervisors and plant leadership to achieve and exceed important metrics
• Recommend and implement workflow improvements to ensure efficient operations
• Address issues related to plant production
• Effectively resolve customer inquiries and complaints
• Recommend and implement programs to support customer needs
REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
• 3 or more years related experience as a supervisor or manager in an industrial setting
• Experience in mechanical, cleaning, and painting operations in an industrial setting required
• Railcar experience required
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Capability to plan work procedures, equipment, material, and human resource needs
• Ability to effectively build and lead a productive work group as well as to perform as a member of the management team
• Experience and proficiency using MS Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint is required
