Role: Mechanical Construction Manager
Location: Turek, Poland
About the role:
- Oversee all aspects of the mechanical construction process for the CCGT project from planning through to completion.
- Manage and coordinate multiple construction teams, contractors, and subcontractors on-site.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and environmental guidelines.
- Develop and manage construction schedules, timelines, and project milestones to meet key deadlines.
- Monitor project budgets, cost control, BOQ's and general construction activities to maintain financial efficiency.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure the accurate interpretation of technical designs, specifications, and drawings.
- Coordinate with client representatives, stakeholders, and project managers for regular updates and reports.
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting on-site challenges to maintain project progress.
- Proven experience in managing large-scale power plant construction, preferably CCGT projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
- 10+ years of experience in similar positions.
- Strong understanding of gas turbine technology, steam generation, and combined cycle processes and boilers, piping, steel structures.
- Project management experience, with the ability to lead and manage multiple contractors simultaneously.
- Extensive knowledge of construction methodologies, scheduling, and budgeting for large industrial projects.
- Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and experience in implementing safety protocols.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
