Our client, an International industry leader in the Oil & Gas sector is looking for a Electrical & Instrumentation Operations Manager in Fort MacMurray, AB to join their team. This is a great opportunity for individuals looking to further progress their career facility construction, demand and long-term industrial maintenance support, plant shutdowns and turnarounds, field construction and project management sector. The ideal candidate will have 8 – 10 years previous experience in the industry, with a strong desire to meet client commitments and pursue future growth opportunities in the company’s E&I business.
Responsibilities
• Highly safety orientated fostering previous experience in zero incident safety cultures: programs, policies, and initiatives
• Contribute to strategic business initiatives and provide sales support; networking, building on potential clients and develop operational business plans.
• Strong financial forecasting and budgetary knowledge; short and long term forecasting, budget development, reporting, analysis and ability to meet financial targets.
• Ability to provide involvement on E & I projects and scope; RFP’s, contract management, proposal development, estimating and planning
• Site inspections and field management; quality, safety, costs and client relationships.
Qualifications
• Journeyman Electrician or Electrical Engineering background is desired
• Previous experience leading a team of project managers
• Experience with technical drawings and specifications; materials, estimating, and cost
• High level of knowledge within safety, operations, and procedures
• E & I trade knowledge in materials, QAQC, code and best practices.
• Financial acumen supporting operations and projects
• BC FSR is desired
