As the Operations Manager you will be directly responsible for all business activities and the results out of the Night Shift Operation.
Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will coordinate with key business partners (Operations, Logistics, Maintenance, Industrial Engineering, and Quality Engineering) to achieve plant performance goals. Your leadership will directly impact the short- and long-term success of the facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coach your team to meet safety, quality, delivery, and financial targets.
- Drive continuous improvement through the Mack Production System (MPS) by implementing standardized processes, developing talent, and fostering employee engagement.
- Assume full accountability for team leadership, people development, project management, investment planning, and long-term strategic planning (0-3 years).
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure operational excellence and a customer-centric approach.
- Promote a knowledge-driven culture, building strong networks and trusting relationships within the team and across departments.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in the automotive/heavy equipment industry, including at least 5 years in a supervisory role.
- In-depth knowledge of automotive production processes, including body-in-white, painting, and final assembly.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with demonstrated success in negotiation and cross-functional leadership.
- Proven ability to lead and inspire teams, delegate responsibilities, and drive projects to completion.
- Creative problem solver with a holistic mindset and a positive approach to challenges.
- Committed to continuous learning, with a focus on customer-driven decision-making.
