Operations Supervisor

Our client, a leading supplier in North America for engineered steel products is looking for an Operations Supervisor in Edmonton, AB! In this exciting role, the ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and seek to aid in the training and development of the team. The Operations Supervisor should have experience working in a manufacturing setting and puts a high priority on safety and environmental compliance in all aspects of the job.

Key Job duties:
- Maintain daily site operations and staff scheduling
- Manage site in terms of performance, looking at optimizing sales and production
- Take on a leadership role within the team, and help to train and coach employees
- Responsible for sales reports, and financials and making necessary corrections in financial reports
- Understand and communicate company policies and procedures to the team

Qualifications:
- 3+ years of leadership experience
- Have experience working in an industrial manufacturing role, or automotive/distribution
- Loader and heavy equipment operator license preferred
- Have experience building and retaining a strong team
- Strong organization and planning skills
