The Project Manager is accountable for the preparation, direction, coordination, implementation, execution, monitoring, control, completion and close out of assigned projects, while always ensuring consistency with Company’s strategy, commitments and safety, quality, commercial and operational objectives.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Develops the project definition and scope of work, defining all goals and deliverables.
- Defines project success criteria and distributes them to all relevant parties over the project duration.
- Studies the project specification in detail, develops the work list and uploads to the ERP system for distribution to the Production Department.
- Ensures fully familiarised with the terms and conditions of the Project Contract and identifies all project milestones and deliverables.
- Ensures that critical path activities are performed in accordance with the schedule and that project milestones and deliverables are achieved.
- Coordinates and chairs the onboard daily meeting. This includes a mandatory requirement to record minutes of meeting (MOM), issuing a copy to the Client and filing a copy in the project file.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Engineering, or otherwise qualified in a relevant area, and a minimum of five years’ experience as a Project Manager in a Marine or Oil & Gas project environment.
- Commercial awareness with experience of contract administration and Client management.
- Broad IT experience and particularly an experienced user of the Microsoft Office suite of applications.
- Fluent in the English language, verbal and written, with extensive experience of its use and application in all types of business communication.
