Here is an exciting opportunity to take part in a mega project in Windsor, Ontario as a Quality Control Manager! The successful candidate for this role will be responsible for communicating and coordination with relevant parties, and any Witness or Hold Point as per the approved ITP. The Quality Control Manager will also be responsible for maintaining client relationships, and subconsultant management.
Job duties:
- Step verification and Tracing of Materials
- Training and Onboarding of Quality Control Inspectors
- Accountable for QC Inspection and Testing- Perform inspections and Tests in accordance with the approved Inspection and Testing Procedures.
- Assist and provide the required input to Quality Assurance managers in the development of Inspection and Testing Plans.
- Ensure that defective work or material be corrected or removed until made compliant.
Qualifications:
- Ten (10) years of work experience with at least six (6) of those years having supervision or management experience.
- Should have at least five years of experience within the past 10 years as a construction quality manager on major (preferred) bridge construction project or other major urban civil infrastructure project.
- Design Build or P3 Experience on Infrastructure Projects
