An exciting opportunity exists for a Project and Quality Coordinator to join our team. We are a PCM working for numerous clients across mining sector.
The Quality Coordinator will report directly to the Lead QA. The successful candidate will have experience in procurement and surveillance of Mining and Chemical processing equipment. The Project and Quality Coordinator will be responsible for managing various suppliers and will have a strong focus on risk management, scheduling and reporting.
The key responsibilities and duties would include:
- Developed time management skills.
- Experienced Quality professional.
- High level attention to detail.
- Tenacious.
Experience:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in a similar role on EPC/EPCM projects in minerals processing environment or similar.
- Demonstrable understanding and experience with QA/QC processes and management.
- Significant experience in a similar Quality Coordinator role including skills in quality control and documentation.
- Engineering skills to assess suitability of design and quality of construction as well as at commissioning and operational stages.
- Sound understanding of current Australian and International codes and standards, including welding and the ASME standards.
- Strong knowledge of construction principles and familiarity with job site practices and procedures, including safety, project planning and technical record management.
- Understanding of interrelated contracts, schedules, documentation management, and reporting.
- Demonstrable high level computer skills, particularly in the MS Office suite and engineering systems.
- Advanced level of Quality deliverables requirements.
- Mature candidate with management skills.
- Experience in fabrication methods and inspection.
- Intimate level of ISO 9001 understanding.
- Talented in managing conflicting priorities.
- Goal oriented.
