Location: BC remote area
Site details: Camp-based assignment, cross shift role
Fly-in/fly-out, working on a regular rotational schedule of 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the exploration team to facilitate the exploration program and ensure seamless field operations.
- Implement and oversee contractor and risk management programs, manage site camp operations, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Address contractor-related conflicts, manage site orientation and onboarding practices, and oversee community statistics and KPI reporting.
- Plan and oversee project logistics, resource allocation, and inventory/supply chain management.
- Willingness to work in a camp-based setting with a cross shift schedule.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with the exploration team on-site.
- Capability to push back when needed to maintain operational standards.
- Proven experience in managing drill pads and exploration activities.
- Experience working with First Nations groups.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Mining, or a related field (diploma may be considered with relevant experience).
- At least 8 years of experience in site operations and camp management within the mining and exploration industry.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and effective communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite; familiarity with project management software is beneficial.
